I’m away on Kangaroo Island at the moment, where I always spend a week or two each summer with my family. Having a lovely time in the sun on the beach and eating yummo food ☀️ (filming another YouTube video while I’m here!)
I hope everyone had a wonderful Christmas surrounded by family/friends and got to eat lots of yummy food! I was definitely spoiled by an array of roast veggies, vegan salads, cold rolls, fruit platters and dark chocolate🍴

I wrote out a whole thing and it didn’t post. So, I’ll just get the the point. I had a baby in 2009 and another one in 2011. I started my lifting journey at 103lbs in 2012 with very little muscle mass. 4 years and 40lbs later, here I am in 2016.
First picture is 2010, I am on the right in the bikini. The one under it was in 2012 when I first started lifting.
When I was overweight,
God forbid I have a second helping of potatoes,
Because cellulite is ugly, and potatoes make you fat.When I was overweight,
After an eight-hour shift, all I wanted was a hot cup of cocoa,
And some biscuits for dipping.
God forbid I stray away from my diet-plan just onceWhen I was overweight,
I wasn’t allowed to wear a bikini,
Everything must be covered,
Maybe one size up.When I was overweight,
Dance class three days a week just wasn’t enough,
Join an organized sport,
Or maybe hit the gym.But when I was underweight,
Everything was different,
Everyone loved me,
But I no longer loved myself.When I was underweight,
I had as many potatoes as I wanted,
And extra dessert too,
You need a fuller figure, you’ve lost all your shape!When I was underweight,
My mental health was a priority,
No more eight-hour shifts, not even three.
Hot chocolate with extra marshmallows, and some homemade cookies, too!
I didn’t need to follow a diet plan, I could eat as much as I wanted!When I was underweight,
Everything looked good on me.
The mini skirt I always wanted really flattered my thighs.
Crop tops were my best friend,
And weekly shopping sprees became a routine!When I was underweight,
I was forced to quit dance,
Maybe you should watch more movies,
Order some pizza, too!When I was underweight,
I was miserable to say the least,
Happiness didn’t come from a dress size,
Though the world will make you believe.
